How big a hard drive do you have? At a medium video quality, TIVO takes about 1 gig of space for an hours worth of programming. You're not limited to just the storage on your laptop. I had an external hard drive I used with my last laptop with only a 20gig hard drive, but don't use that with the newer one with 60gig.
