Thanks SeaMeFly - just a related question: in case UA has to provide accommodation, can F passengers ask for specific hotels (I am thinking of first class hotels vs. airport hotel inns). I had only the case twice - with Pan Am and Swissair and both time when they looked at the paid F ticket, they accepted a hotel of my choosing. I am really not sure this would still be the case today with UA or any airline actually.
