Yesterday I phoned up flying poo and asked them to merge my old number with my newer. I decided to keep the older number (because I still had the card) even though this year I have credited all my miles to the new one.

They told me that it would take about a week, however I may fly on skyteam this weekend thus was wondering what Flying Blue number to give them, the one I have used this year or the one which they will merge to?

Does anyone have any experiences with this? Is this generally something which takes a week or longer?

The lady offered to keep all my data however will I keep my login details or will those also be reset?
