Think about it this way. Why would AA drop FEBO to just take orders front to back or back to front? It doesn't add anything and FEBO doesn't cost them anything. If they decided to take orders based on elite status a la United or fare paid, it would be worth a change, but dumping FEBO does nothing one way or the other for AA, so why would they even bother.
