haven't met anyone yet who could resist the temptations of swiss chocolates.

but I always give them afterwards(after 'work' has been done) - as a thank you, not as a bribe for the future (but sometimes it worked even afterwards, being called, after check-in, at the airlines lounge and got another/double upgrade ...).
