I did the AF Concorde award; JFK-CDG 12/24 and CDG-JFK 12/28. Having never flown the Concorde before, it was a great experience, definitely worth 160,000 miles to me. At JFK, the lounge was very nice with a continental breakfast before leaving (interesting since they serve a multiple course breakfast meal on board). The chief flight attendant came into the lounge about 30 minutes prior to boarding, came around to all the passengers to welcome them and smooze. The takeoff, climb, and acceleration are impressive. There really isn't anything noticable about Mach 1 (or 2), you wouldn't really know it except for the speedometer at the front of each cabin. The service on board was outstanding. The walls of the aircraft get warm at Mach 2 and 59,000 feet. I had read this before going and it's true, noticably warm. Our flights were on time, without any significant problem. Luggage return was quick. The connection is somewhat difficult, stayed over night at a JFK airport hotel on the way to CDG to catch the early morning JFK-CDG. On the way back, the connections back to ATL (and back to LIT, my home city) were bad (7 hour layover at JFK). But, it is a great experience and for me was definitely worth the miles.
