Interesting rules now ... 50 lb limit if connecting to an AA international flight, but 70 lb limit connecting to non-AA Oneworld flight. And 50 lb limit on lots of OW carriers in Y (e.g. BA all sectors). Strange for AA to give incentive to avoid flying AA internationally. The OW rules are getting ridiculous, with dozens of exceptions (that cover the majority of the cases, so they are hardly exceptions, just different rules).
