I would like to use telephone check-in on my next flight from MEL-SIN-LHR. I understand it is open from 48-24 hrs prior to departure. Does that mean I have to wait until the SIN-LHR flight is open for check-in?

26 MAR MEL-SIN 00:50
26 MAR SIN-LHR 09:00

The SQ agent said I should call on the 25th MAR but I didn't understand her. When is the earliest time in Australia that I can call to check-in?
