No disrespect, UDH, but those might just be the "good" days.
13 weeks of flying ATL-MGM on a the morning departure. 2 of 13 flights left on time and only 1 arrived on time.
11 of the 13 were due to "maintinence" though I only once saw a mechaninc anywhere near the plane. Seemed more like "crew was late to work" and "ground crew was too slow/busy" were the real cause.
Of the two "on-time" (within 30 minutes - I'm being generous, but a 30 minute delay is what made
me "late" so I'll cut them some slack) departures, one had to return to the gate from the taxi-way when they tried to start the nbr 2 engine and it had some problem. (gotta love those fuel saving taxis - really a good idea, but maybe not for the first flight of the day?!?)
I won't even talk about the 13 returns except to say that I missed 7 of my originally scheduled connections back to FL. For the last 4 trips, I actually scheduled the later flight to FL knowing I'd probably miss the connection ...)
Atlantic S*cks Air. I'll never fly them again. Too bad the plague is spreading beyond ATL and DFW.
