They should get with the times and offer a choice to the international TRAVELER.
Actually it is only in the US where an automatic transmission is prevalent. And as we all know, the US is ONE country out of 192 (193 if you count Taiwan) in the world. If Europe were to cater to the majority of international TRAVELERs as you say, then it very obviously makes sense that the rental companies would offer primarily manual transmission vehicles.
