They decided to split their time: the Maldives and Siam Reap. Its the Aman in Siam Reap, and still looking for a hotel in the Maldives (soooo many good choices).
...and by May of 2007, you will have even more choices in the Maldives. I'm actually going at that time and plan on staying at the new Four Seasons there and returning to the O&O Reethi Rah (although the Soneva resorts are also very nice in a more rustic way). I think the Siem Reap / Maldives combo is an excellent choice - jungle and culture on one side and sun and sand on the other.
