Best (cheapest) UK sim?

So what is the cheapest service to get a sim card from in the UK? I am going to London this week and my Orange pay-as-you-go sim that i bought three years ago has expired. Their rates were good, but IIRC the sim card cost £25 which is a little pricey imho.
