I saw the re-configuration of 772ER discussion on Japanese message board.
Did a quick search on ANA's website and it seems like 1 of 2 daily BKK flight starting July/August (NH953/954 probably) is getting the brand new 772ER to be delivered this year.
The new 772ER will have C70W36Y117. The same one goes to SFO on selected days.
Which is strange since ANA is focusing on high-yield premium-fare paying pax but JAL thinks BKK is a low-yield route.
