Talking He really was a nice man!!!

Popped open a bottle yesterday for my mum's birthday.

Felt smooth, almost creamy in the mouth. On the dry side, without being even remotely astringent, and a lovely honeyed lemon taste. Absolutely delightful! Not a trace of the 'dry mouth' sensation I often get from champagne which makes it such a chore to drink.

My Dad spent a few years working in France and has been given a lot of champagne, he admitted that this was the first time he'd ever wanted a second glass.

Personally, this is one of the nicest kinds I've ever tasted. So I'm thrilled!

My fantasy of going to France for the day and stumbling across a delicious unknown brand (and with our 10% wedding discount at £8.50 a bottle) has come true.

Wish I could get hold of some more!!!
