As for the OP's question, what about the LCCs? Air Tran could try to add new destinations or bump up frequency to increase market share, and maybe WN would decide to come in. Dunno what would happen with the feeder routes but it'd seem like that would continue to have demand. Would seem that many of the international routes, especially to the Caribbean and South America, could not be picked up.
