As a 1K I rarely use the RCC. I haven't joined (although my company would pay the fee if I wanted to) because of the following reasons:

They're dirty
Not friendly agents in many of the locations
They're oftentimes so crowded that it is difficult to find a place to sit yet alone find a quiet place to work
No free wi-fi
The snacks and drinks are sorely lacking imo (the fact that you have to basically wrestle to get a drink chit seems ludicrous imo)
When I travel internationally I get free access


Unlike others, I think that the fee actually is rather high for what you get
