Just don't expect too much when you board and maybe you won't be disappointed. As someone mentioned, United has 20k plus FAs. The qualification to become a FA isn't too hard. So you do the math. You are going to a LOT of FAs that are just not professional.
Of course, I'm generalizing so for those "good" FAs, please.. no need to claim exceptions. Most of my experiences with UA FAs have been positive.
FAs have no incentive to do a great job. They are mostly unionized. Which means, if management wants to fire them, they better have a solid case and be willing to give multiple warnings.
One last thing, it makes me laugh when a FA thinks they have a better understand of running an airline. There is a reason, they are FAs and the people who are in charge are management. I got an idea!! Why don't we let the FAs run the business and while we are at it, give all FAs a 6 figure salary and give them a ton of vacation time.
