Joining the China Airlines Dynasty Flyer program is also an option. They credit 40% mileage for M class on China Eastern.

CI is also partners with Air China and China Southern, so you could potentially credit all your Mainland China flying into CI. You can redeem for flights on China Airlines, Delta, China Eastern, Air China, or China Southern.
