Well Sparky, that depends on what they want it to mean. Since ASA, Comair, and DLX are wholly owned subsidiaries, they call them DL operated when they want then to be. But if they loose your luggage on a COmair flight you have to deal with Comair in CVG, nor DL in ATL since Comair "isn't really DL" as I was told.

You can be sure it does not mean metal operated by partners, codeshares, etc. The widget must be on the plane somewhere for the debate to begin.

Gotta love the way they play both sides of the coin. Just like the way you now pay $100 to go early but don't get paid $100 for a cancelled flight. I'm getting my $100 invoices to Leo ready.
