I'll try the Marriott next time as I've stayed at the Four Seasons and even though I am a huge Four Seasons fan I'm really not all that impressed with the one at Canary Wharf. Something about London hotels in general never seem to cut it for me.
I found the FS CW to be one of the better hotels in London!! My personal favourite is One Aldwych. However, I do agree with you --- on the whole, London hotels, including One Aldwych, cannot match service levels at similar hotels in Paris, Bangkok, or Tokyo.
