Right then, PC Gold now, going to be PC Plat soon (slow to catch up, but learning fast...)

Booked a holiday to Florida (from UK) for myself and family, taking 3 rooms for 13 nights. I am the main name on the booking, with my wife, sister, nephew and parents also staying.

As a PC Plat, should I be able to get a room upgrade? (how many ?) And should I email the hotel in advance to request this ? Will I get any PC points or stay credit?

Staying at the Universal Blvd, not the 12000 ID, thanks to FT for that advice. (lucky escape?)

Any other advice - is it worth getting (buying) Ambassador status or is that just for CPs ?
