AMEX MR points can be moved to VS from 1 July 06. Ratio is 1:1. Much better burn rate than QF (and 'aint that the bleeding obvious). All it takes is membership of the VS program. I presume it is dead easy to get SYD-HKG award seats, but if the HKG-LHR flights run full, that may be different.

I just wonder if Virgin will operate SYD-LAX as VS or whether they'll disguise it as DJ or (Pacific Blue).
