Over the years, I've decided that PRC FFPs are a waste of time, even though I fly a lot within Mainland China (enough to qualify for a mid-tier elite level in the US). It's simply not worth the hassel, in spite of the fact that my ex-SHA flights are, increasingly, close to full fare.

But, the upside of no-loyalty is that it's easier to pick and choose flights based on price and time.

What's more, I couldn't fathom going out of my way to fly MU, even if they offered a ridiculous promotion (I've never seen one).
