I'm planning on flying out to from LAX to BOS for the weekend of 4/21. In pricing the flights, I've gotten a bit of sticker shock (just cashed in all my miles), with nothing under $400 with the schedule I need (redeye night of 4/20 or early morning flight 4/21, back late sunday).
Pricing later weekends and earlier weekends on AA.com show at least $100 lower for equivalent flights. Anyone know what gives? The marathon and easter are the weekend before. Any ideas on why, and whether the prices should drop?
The week of April 17th is school vacation week in Massachusetts. What u have is the people comng home who bought the low cost tickets months ago. If you are looking for a lower cost flight try a change plane in DFW, ORD or JFK.
