VS flights tend to be parties, with a lot of noise from both passengers and crew. Great if you want to party, not so good if you want to sleep. Service is a lot different from BA or QF, some like it, some don't. Food is more hip (you are more likely to get hamburger and other junk food, some of it good but definitely less formal). VS makes up for the poorer in-air service with great ground services.
