As already noted, you most likely wouldnt be turned away, in the same token as someone who happened to just go into the checkin line, but it certainly is not a benefit of *S to use priority checkin unless travelling on the particular carrier that your *S status is with. *G are not even granted the benefit of F/C checkin, its Business class.
