First off, let me just say I am in one of those "I cant make up my mind moods" today, so if this seems like a basic, easy choice, I apologize.

I am headed to Dallas this weekend for a family reunion. There are 6 of us: myself, hubby, 3 kids and my Mom (Senior Citizen).

Months ago, I booked us into 2 rooms at a Dallas Renaissance (doesn't really matter which one) on a weekend rate of $119. We have 2 rooms for 3 nights each.

I was hoping we could use one, and maybe 2, of the "Renaissance Buy One Get One" free weekend Elite coupons that we have.

Now, in checking the website, I find rooms available at lower rates (rates which we do qualify for):

$112 AAA
$101 Senior Discount (max 2 rooms at this rate)

The price difference (assuming we can use one of the BOGO certs) is minimal.

Do I bother changing the reservations? And if so, to the AAA or the Senior Discount? Will I possibly be able to use one or both of the BOGO certs with either AAA or Senior discount? And would I have been able to use it on the Weekend rate anyway?

And, since I made the initial reservations and added "Platinum upgrade requested please" on my res, and I DO see there are many suites still offered, will changing my res now (2 days before arrival) mess up my upgrade chances?

I am sure the answer is really cut and dried. But my head is fuzzy from the day today and I just don't know whether it's worth making chages at this time.
