I find the CX bed in F to be much better than the BA bed in F. If you like the BA type of bed, then QF has the next generation of that seat, making for a significantly better F bed than BA currently has. Both QF and CX have a lot better food than BA. The primary BA advantage over QF is the BA Arrivals lounge at LHR (and MB spa upon departure for the LHR-HKG leg). Unlike BA, CX makes its lounges available for BA pax, so doesn't have any advantage over BA (somehow I don't think CX is worried, their F service is so much better than BA that it really isn't a contest).
QF passengers coming into LHR (even from HKG) can use the BA Arrival Lounge (MB spa) as part of the JSA so as such there is no advantage going BA for this reason. BA however has better flight times from HKG if you want a night flight. QF flights from the end of March will be day flights arriving into LHR in the afternoon which may not suit all.
