I'm always focused on EQM's to keep making the status level. I only think about the RDMs in the bank once I hit 1K (or if it's worth it, the 125 or 150 levels because of the promos in the past couple of years).

For the past five years I've had no less than 600K RDMs in the bank. Usually it floats around 700K, as it is right now.

I've learned not to mention this to other friends. Whatever joy there may be in bragging about miles is outweighed by the expectation of some that if one has something that is "free" one should give it away. There's a bit of expectation by some of my friends that I should share my wealth of miles since they are "free." Nope. As any FTer knows, miles are an earned commodity.
