i've purchased an MSU before. and, in the move i think DL is trying to encourage, i've declined an available upgrade because i didn't think it was worth spending limited MSU's for that particular flight.

my wish is that the mileage per MSU would drop from 800 to 1. give me 3000 1-mile segment upgrades instead of 4 800-milers, and let me get 3000 miles worth of value out of them. i realize that wouldn't have worked when they were paper, but everything is electronic now.
