Only reason I caught this...

Was in the MSP C World Club putting my bag down in the storage area...and saw a bag with an '06 Platinum Elite tag that was sparkling metallic, and a greenish-gold color.

Was labeled a certain US Senator from the midwest, and had no text distinction other than 'Sen' in the name and regular Platinum Elite label. But, the color was definitely unlike any other, and certainly not the platinum silver.

Is this a VIP thing, or are they maybe coloring million-milers differently?

Surprised they went to the level of having different colored luggage tags for any select program.

Maybe I should just ask him, as he's easy to spot here. But one word from him to security and a look at the itinerary I'm on, and it's going to be a long night with our friends in white shirts.
