We've stayed at the Raffles twice in the past year and a half, and the service has been great. It's not the place to go for good prices in SIN, but it is an amazing experience. The rooms are extremely comfortable and fabulously well kept. While the shopping area may seem touristy to some, just try walking the cool teak floors of the Raffles hallways at night. Magnificent. And the breakfasts are memorable. Service for us has been great. If only there were more like it...
