When I look at CNS-MEL in Nov. for QF 703, on AA.com it is US$217. On quantas.com the red e-deal is AU$242 (US$182) and supersaver AU$324 (US$243). So the supersaver fare is less on AA.com, but the price is less on Qantas.com if I am willing to forego the miles (which I probably am). Or I may just fly VirginBlue if they are cheaper. At this point in the trip price will be the number 1 factor. VirginBlue has AU$159 (US$119) as a promo fare. That's half the best fare on Qantas. Jetstar has the same fare as VirginBlue.

Now I'm wondering why any of you Aussies even fly Qantas when they are so much more for these fairly short flights?
