But... and this is something I obviously just don't get... what's the reason you have to board at first call? Just because one is Premier (or above) doesn't mean you have to board early, and if they've changed out a smaller plane for a bigger one, it's not as if you have to worry about not having enough for your carry-ons.

But I'm as bad as the next guy. Once I made status, I'm up there at the first boarding call, just like all the other elites. Just seems like something you're supposed to do.
