I have stayed at both this year and like them - they are among the best in the world. Butler service is super cool at the St Regis - call for a cup of coffee or tea at anytime and they will deliver it. Room upgrade for plats is really nice.

However....location is not as convenient as Westin. The breakfast at the Westin is outstanding (in the 1st floor restaurant NOT the exec lounge).
