I would definately recommend goin to your local TJMax or Ross's as they have high end luggage for usually 50-75% off.

I was able to get Ricardo Beverly Hills "Ultra Light" line, a 28" and a 26" for approximately $125 with tax. More then enough luggage and it has a 10 year warranty, not to mention Ricardo has gotten very good reviews.

They have other brands like Samonsite, Polo, Atlantic, etc.
