Lucky you. (We will skip the fried laptop scenario, but insert it into the paranoid background.)

Now I have a possible adapter question. I have Motorola phone which works just fine off my UK charger cord. It works fine off a generic car charger, ie cigarette lighter outlet. Will it work off a UK car cigarette lighter power source too, or is this a "gotcha?" that I should've known about?
