Sure, if you calculate with regular F-class prices, almost any trip will look like an attractive MR. Given the OP is Plat, I guess there are quite a number of banked miles in the account

Personally, I do such runs to gain EQMs, if they are needed, or if I am just short of the dream ticket I was looking for. Sometimes there are K-class fares from the US to Asia with NW yielding almost 1 cent/mile; I guess that is a different story.
