AN_Boy, I think that's about right: although IIRC anyone standing in the Waterside foyer can see the latest stats for the following (inter alia) on a rotating plasma screen:
- Number of visitors to ba.com per day
- Number of bookings made on ba.com per day
- Number of users of SSCI machines per day (with trend line)
- OLCI stats
and in all cases the values are increasing inevitably upwards. (Personally I'm always quite surprised to see those stats on a public display as I would have thought they're sensitive-ish..)
What's quite interesting is that the education of passengers in web-enabled technology - even for the "basic" tasks such as buying a ticket - should be viewed in conjunction with other airlines. So if Ryanair are going to start charging passengers who don't check-in online (as I hear), then that's actually to BA's benefit too.
