'Ground Zero' for the copywatch and handbag guys is just up the block from the Sheraton on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. You can't miss them! I play a game with my brother when we're in TST - you have to point out the 'copywatch' guys before they approach you. You get a point if they approach, loose a point if they do not. If you're caucasian and look at all like a tourist they're worse than mosquitos on a hot summer night. I actually recognize a lot of them rom traveling to HK for the last several years. The closure of the Hyatt in TST has re-oriented some of the 'turf'. Frankly, they are a terrible representation of HK. For an otherwise clean, orderly and very enjoyable city they really spoil the atmosphere. I hope somebody from the HKTA will recognize this and try and do something about it some day. Why would you want to buy a fake anyway? Save your $$ up and have the satisfaction and pride of owning the real thing some day. You'll appreciate it much more than a fake.
