Having the hotel split the bill 3 ways seems rather tacky. Why wouldn't you just have them reimburse you in the first place?

It reminds me of 10 people who go out to dinner together, and *everyone* asks for a separate bill. I know some people might need a bill for their company, but everyone needing one?
