I always see Flight Attendants and Pilots arriving at the Airport Hotel together. They seem to be enjoying their time together as they check in at the hotel front desk. I assume that each member of the flight crew is given their own room. Though I always wondered what the extended Flight Crew did after they checked in.

Is there alot of friendships among the extended Flight Crew during the stop overs? Or is there a written (or unwritten rule) about Flight Attendants and Pilots mingling?

Just curious.
