I don't know whether to agree or disagree. With so many people having to pass thru a WTMD just to enter thier office building everyday I don't think it's the majority of 'average travelers' holding up the lines. It seems to be the 1 in 20 person that holds the line up while it takes them 5X to get thru the process. With so many people going thru this process in many more locations than just airports I think most people are fairly quick about it.

I wonder, are employees who have to pass a WTMD in an office building allowed to cut to the front of the line. Has any traveler been forced to wait when entering an office or government building while employees of that building were allowed to move to the front of the line?
