I'm not sure I agree with you. How did you book the flight? If you booked it on ba.com its made very clear that the flight is a sleeper service, as it is when booked through BA telesales. As you were on an MFU, I presume you must have booked using one of these two options. Whilst it is unfortunate, that you didn't have time to eat a full meal in the lounge I don't think you can blame the cabin crew. I imagine they went out of their way to get you food, and if you didn't get Y food, you either had an F portion or one of the meals loaded on board intended for them!!
