It's just not a child friendly place. It's not even an "un-cool" adult friendly place, lol. The bar in the lobby is filled with comfortable sofas, and the guests take advantage of "relaxing" on them. The entire hotel is very dark and the dark corners are also utilized by guests "relaxing." It's also in the tenderloin area of SF, where many homeless congregate. JMO.
