A seat is designed for ##x##x## and for ###lbs. A fare is for the same. If you go over it then you pay overage. Just the same as baggage, shipping, clothing, etc... No, I don't have mercy for fat people. You see I am fat, right now I am 34 lbs overweight and I Have worked hard to get it to that point. I know that fat people go into a buffet and pile the plate high and go back and go back and go back. I know that fat people drink lots and lots of cola. I used to drink 6 to 10 20oz bottles of Coca Cola per day. I know that there is no excuse for not having concern for your own health and life. I also know that you must respect others by not having your own lack of control or other problems, regardless of what they are, encroach on someone else's right. So no I do not buy any of the "I can't help it" arguments. That is a cop out. You can help it! I know first hand. Yes it is hard, but it can and must be done. I also do not respect parents that set an example for their children and/or allow them to eat without restraint and become fat. It is bad for the child's health and self esteem. Allowing a child to become fat is abuse or neglect. Eat less, excercise more (outside and not on a video game)! If you weigh 350 and the person next to you is a child, is it fair to hang over on them since they do not use the whole seat? NO!!! If you fly and you are fat, you can either pay for an extra seat or loose weight to fit. The choice is yours and no one else's. I suggest for your own health, loose weight!!
