So here's the story...
Returning back from ORD, next week with the Mrs.
She's going for work and I've got work to do in Boston, so flying out there and then I will join her for a couples of days in Chicago before we fly back together.
Thing is I am booked in WT+ and she is booked in WT.
She's on a cooperate rate so although very flexible cannot be upgraded.
Work booked me in WT+ and its not a very flexible ticket.
Just the way it worked out unfortunately...

Now, the thing is I told the Mrs. that she can take my seat and I will ride down the back, but she will not hear of it, and is upset that we will not be seated together.
There are 3 options as I can see it.
1. I ask the person sitting next to her (at the moment according to MMB, no one) to kindly swap places with me, which I cannot see anyone sane refusing.
2. Talking to a member of the cabin Crew telling them the heartbreaking story and see if they (without actually asking them) maybe just maybe, say what the hell and let her sit with me (cabin looks wide open at the moment...)
3. Using 37,500 miles upgrading her to WT+.

What would you do???
