I'm Silver and got upgraded to Europe last year, but I'm not sure if its because I was Silver, or because they asked me to change flights because they needed my seat from SAN-Houston. They changed me to SAN-EWR-Paris, where I drove to Normandy. It was a great deal for me because I was upgraded all the way to Paris, got in 4 hours earlier and didnt even have to kiss the concierge. I thought the service in Business was opulent- they do a terrific job
