I am doing the exact same flights on June 4th/5th.
Did have the nonstop SLC/CUN for the 5th. Delta canceled the flights and rerouted me thru ATL. Originally they put me on #1405 at 9:45 but it was coach only seating and I paid for Biz. I was told #1405 was a Song plane with no first class.
Got them to change me to the 11:00 flight with First seating.
Hoping to use the BE lounge for my layover.
I did request to get back on the nonstop if it should be reinstated before 4/5 and was told it would be put in my record to make the change for free.
