All right all right. Before anyone gets the wrong impression I kept my PlAAt card well in my pocket and never mentioned the "sapphire" word. I was well afraid his would have sent me to Y straight away for safety reasons! Only kidding. :-)
So is it BAEC or Customer Services that I should politely write to? In 15years of BA I've only done it once for a bag that went lost (and was then found in another continent without much in it!)
